How can we approach God? We know that God is holy because He tells us so in His Word, and we know that He wants us to be holy, which is only possible through Jesus Christ. In the Old Testament, God provided a series of laws and sacrifices to provide forgiveness and atonement for the people so that they could approach Him. Despite our sin, God wants a relationship with us and has, in every age, made a way for us to have that relationship.
