Why do they say, "Confession is good for the soul"? When a person encounters God's truth, and the Spirit works in their life, they are often confronted by things in their life that don't line up with God's Word. When that happens, the true believe has only one option: to confess and forsake the wrong activities. It's a response borne of humility and to which God responds with grace.
This week at 10:45am we will witness the effect of God's Word on the people under Nehemiah's care. Revival broke out, as was evidenced by the people confessing their sins.
